Comprehensive Residential Building Evaluations

A comprehensive, pre-purchase building evaluation saves you time, money and aggravation. Whether you are buying or selling a home, knowing its condition is important to assure a fair and smooth transaction and help you make better decisions. Your Onsite Engineer will perform a thorough, visual evaluation of the major systems and components of the home: Structural (including attic and crawl space if accessible), Exterior and Interior, Plumbing, Roofing, HVAC, and Electrical.

Before buying a home, it is critically important to identify major problems and expected remaining useful life so that you can plan for your future years of ownership by avoiding expensive surprises. After all, a planned repair or replacement always costs less than an emergency repair.

Plan for your inspection to take approximately 2-4 hours and please plan to participate whenever possible — you will benefit from having one-on-one discussions with an experienced, professional engineer whose goal is to provide you with practical information about your building, in terms you can understand.

Within 3 days of the inspection appointment, you will receive a confidential, written report by email, fax or printed mail, a Building Evaluation Report including a summary list of Items to Consider.
